The Theme is Dead, Long Live the Theme

I’ve always wanted to dip my toes in HTML & CSS but, before starting this blog, I never really had an excuse to. Up till a few days ago (I’m really bad about procrastinating on writing these posts), I was using the lovely PaperMod, a beautifully simple theme that I highly endorse. The only real gripe I had was that it wasn’t mine.

We’re now running on my own cobbled-together CSS, with a style biting so hard from PaperMod it feels like theft, but it’s mine. I’m thinking of learning some JS too, so I can toy around with some ideas for this place, but I’ve always hated JS conceptually, so it’s hard to say whether that’ll ever happen.
